The Hiding Makes Me Frusterated

I have a struggle today. There is something that I can't really share or talk about because a decision was made for me. People see that choice and they believe I am irresponsible and I don't take care of my family. In reality, the choice was made for me, I was hurt and wounded and the arrows continue to fall. It was said it's for my good, but if it was for my good, why is it so bad? I can't talk about it, things are hidden, is that good? I don't feel like I am being honest by being a scape goat. I'm frustrated but trying.

  1. Yesterday the end officially began for me. I too know the struggle of the hiding. Truth is either rejected, hidden or made little of. You expect it in the world, have seen it in the church but still cannot comprehend it when it happens. How does this happen and how can it happen so frequently all over and the masses not look and say "Something is Broken!"? Sorry my words are not the encouraging type but I hope knowing you're not alone helps.

    1. Who is hiding truth and what is the truth? Is this a one sided issue?

    2. No, if affects a large group of people who have not been told the truth. It was a decision they should have been able to make, but it is hidden from them to protect them. When you hide the truth to "protect" those who are under you, starts to sound like a dictatorship to me.

  2. You have my prayers that things will get better.

  3. Jesus is the way, truth, and the life. The truth will set you free. Be honest Pastor! People reject truth! You can tell the truth and the people will hate you more. I know the truth and so do a lot of others. But most important God knows the truth. Those that need an escape goat are not in the light. Or truth. And they do not want to be. They are doing what is right in their own minds. Createing an illusion that makes them feel good.2 Corinthians 10:5
    Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
    Proverbs 21:2
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.
Dan, be wise as a serpent and as harmless as a dove. Remember all things work for the good of those who love God and are in his will. Take what God gave you and turn it into more. Be a good and faithfull servant.
You are not hiding in the light, but be wise. People will only know the truth if they choose to. Be an example and teach Gods truth. The name of Jesus is slandered every second! AND HE WAS PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You, your reputation, and your name holds respect with me. Hope that helps. And many others. God bless you my brother.

  4. I also struggle with what you are talking about. Perhaps it is time for someone to step forward and speak the truth. No blessings will come with the lie that has been presented.

    1. What is the lie? So is gossip the solution?

    3. Hold everyone equally accountable not just the people who agree with you.

    4. I am. I closed anonymous posting for everyone, if they agree or not. If you make a pseudonym, there is nothing I can do about it, not that your identity is a secret. I am fine being disrespected in most areas, but I am not ok with someone coming on my blog to tell everyone what a loser you think I am. You have made that clear enough. Yes, I'm a screw up. Yes, I failed, I was lousy and I paid the price. I don't know what else you want from me. Admit that you are wonderful? Tell everyone you didn't nothing wrong? What do you want me to do? It's never going to be enough for you, is it. Is it your ego? Your self-doubt? Are you afraid? What the heck is wrong with you?

  5. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. (1 John 4:10-21 NIV)

  6. Is social media a bypass to scripture and dealing with things as a Christian. I admonish those who use social media to be accountable to Scripture. MT 18:15 “If your brother or sister[b] sins,go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. 16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church;and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be[e] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[f] loosed in heaven.

19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

    1. Do you not see the irony of using a blog (IE social media) as an anonymous poster to reprimand me for something?

  7. I am forced to close comments to the anonymous. If you have something to say, you need to have the integrity to put your name on it.

  8. Well let me try again. Having issues getting this posted. Let me start by saying, I love you my brother and that i am praying for you.

I want to remind you that Jesus said that we will be persecuted, people will hate us because they hate the truth and the truth lives in us. Remember that God is in control. He was not caught off guard by this. He wasnt surprised. He is using this to mold and shape your character. He is preparing you for the next chapter in your life. And most importantly he is drawing glory to himself through you. Does it hurt? You bet. Is it difficult? Absolutely. But God has a plan and he will work it out in his timing.

Now, for those who post hateful things annonymously. There is nothing you can do but to moderate the comments and keep them out of the conversation. There will always be people who want to drag the rest of the world down into the mud and bitterness that consumes them. Our responsibility is to not let them bring us down and to pray for them. Remember, God has your back. He will give you the strength to rise above the pettiness of others. Keep your eyes focused on the one who holds youf heart in the palm of his hand.

I love you my brother and miss you. I am praying for you and your family.
